Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms govern every booking made directly with Palais Zoya, whether for a room, several rooms, or exclusive use of the whole property. Placing a booking implies acceptance of these terms in full.
1. The company
Palais Zoya is operated by its owners.
2. Bookings
A booking request submitted through this website is not a confirmed reservation. It becomes firm only once we have confirmed availability in writing and received the deposit stated in your confirmation.
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and warrants that they are authorised to book on behalf of every guest in the party.
3. Prices
Prices are shown per room and per night, or per day for private hire, and are quoted in the currency displayed on the site. They include breakfast and daily housekeeping unless stated otherwise, and exclude the local tourist tax, which is collected on site.
Prices may change at any time, but never after your booking has been confirmed.
4. Payment
A deposit is payable to confirm the booking; the balance is payable as set out in your confirmation, and at the latest on arrival. Payment may be made by bank transfer or by card through our payment provider. Card details are never stored by us.
5. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation conditions are stated in your booking confirmation and vary according to the rate, the season and the length of stay. Exclusive-use and event bookings are subject to specific conditions, given in writing before any payment.
Any change to dates or guest numbers is subject to availability and may alter the price.
6. Arrival and departure
Check-in and check-out times are given in your confirmation. Late arrivals are welcome provided we are told in advance.
7. Conduct and damage
Guests undertake to respect the property, its staff and its neighbours. Any damage caused during the stay may be charged at cost. We may end a stay without refund in the event of serious or repeated misconduct.
8. Liability
We are liable for the proper performance of the services we provide. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including transport disruption, weather, or the acts of third-party suppliers booked at your request.
Guests are advised to hold travel and cancellation insurance.
9. Personal data
Personal data collected when booking is processed as described in our privacy policy.
10. Complaints and applicable law
Any complaint should be raised with us during the stay so that it can be addressed, and confirmed in writing within thirty days of departure. These terms are governed by Moroccan law and the courts of Marrakech have jurisdiction.
